AMIRYAN - You can learn the technique in days but it takes much longer to understand the spirit of the craft.
GASPARYAN - Started as WOOD CARVER, then learned pottery. 
GHAZARYAN - Worked as a football coach before learning Stone carving.
AMIRYAN - First worked as an archaeologist, then as a historian. 
GASPARYAN discusses salt containers in The shape of pregnant women. He says they represent fertility
GHAZARYAN says he works with a type of limestone from where architects + sculptors MOMiK took stone in the 13th CENTURY.
AMIRYAN - discusses the fading tradition of wood CARVING, and the role of museums in preserving it
