This is what they had to do when they didn't have the banderia (sp?), stringed instrument that could form different rhythms. guitar and castenets still used Burreo - la fiesta, but specifically with food; "anat de Burreo" - expression that means we're going to a party in Catalan Fandango - related to Andalucian fandango, but can find it in different styles, Catalonia decided to create its own version. (even in S. America) Can only play guitar for about 20 mins at a time -In Catalan & Aragoncse there is randalla (sp?) generally 7-8 members
