Oops - they're not fisherman, they're shrimpers
Shrimps / Prawn
They fish with nets & trawlers.

The fisherman pay 2% dues to fraternity
to have fish mongers auction off
their shrimp.

There are four sizes sold-
for example 10-15 in a kilo
16-25 in a kilo
& so on
they separate the shrimp on the boat

They fish 5 days a week, 11 hours day
& 10 months per year.

The fraternity has a marina with
supplies & fuel, ice, nets, etc. Fraternity
dues pay the marina staff.

Restricting the fishing has allowed
the shrimp to come back stronger - not over
fished - they are proud of their conservation
efforts

They cook with olive oil & black pepper only on low / medium heat - no garlic, no butter, no salt
