Origin of the stone canoe/its role in river formation
Iunmai = there is a Kukama house and canoe used w/ stone for creation of Kukama ppl. , but no explanation of the stone canoe. Story of stone canoe as it relates to Kukama creation (Don tells) place where arrow [[strikethrough]] was [[/strikethrough]] fell, Kakuma god got in there, propelled himself along looking for where it fell—in the river. He found it eventually, pulled it, (no that tightly) let it go and that's how the curve of the river formed. 
NMAI should add this explanation to their exhibit. 
Danna & other peers [[strikethrough]] a [[/strikethrough]] have been in 3 video clips in Kukama. Based on [[strikethrough]] us [[/strikethrough]] their work (well-known on YouTube), popularity grew and not just 'cause of the rhythms but the content & importance of cultural maintenance → both kids & adults. She is hopeful it is possible to save Kukama lang.
