Lieut W. F. Martins
A.S.A. Com'r

Lieut:
Your endorsement on the communication relative to two aged freed-people by Mr. [[?]] [[Dawes?]] has been recd and I am directed by the Asst Com'r to say that thirty rations will be sent to your care for their relief. You will see that they are delivered over to them. The Orders which you requested have been sent. The stationery was sent down to the Depot on the morning of your departure as you requested. It probably is still there. It is suggested that, in the absence of a P.O. at Waynesboro, you make the necessary arrangements with the conductors [[strikethrough]] of [[/strikethrough]] on the R.R. for the proper reception and delivery of your mail matter.

Very Respectfully
your obt Servt
