There has been mounted men in town for the last two nights, believed looking for Perry, it is no doubt their intention to get him out of the way, he lives near Joe Brinkley's plantation, the assault was on the night of Novr 1/68. Said Perry was taken off the cars while on his way to Augusta at Dearing Station, with his four (4) sons, marched into the woods and killed, with the exception of one |
