9. March 4th, in Calhoun Co, Wm. H. Jourdan, in a quarrell about work, was shot and killed by James Edmundsen, white. No arrest. Whereabouts of Edmundson unknown. Reward offered by the Bur for his arrest.

10. March 10th, in Dougherty Co., Major Porter, in a quarrrel, was hit with an axe, by John Thomas, freed; Thomas was arrested by the Civil authorities, at the instance of this Bureau; no trial, Porter consenting to drop the case. Thomas paying the cost's.

11. March 12th in Dougherty Co., Robert Beck for disobedience of orders and insolent language, was shot in the left arm by Mrs Mott, wife of L. Mott, white. Mrs. Mott was arrested by the Civil authorities, at the insistence of this Bureau, but the matter was  settled by Consent of Beck, Mott paying the cost's.

12. April - , in Selby County, Moses Hart was called out of his house at night by unknown persons, was shot in the face and severely wounded, without any provocation. No action by Civil authorities.

13. April 4th, in Baker County, Thomas Smith was shot at by Green Harbin, white, cause unknown. No arrest, whereabouts of Harbin unknown.

14. April 9th, in Lee Co, Henry Jourdan was shot
