at, by Elisha Irvin, white, without  provocation. No arrest. Whereabouts of Irvin unknown.

15. April 10th in Randolph County, Silver Grant, in a political quarrell, was stabbed and mortally wounded by Ben Holland, freed. Holland was arrested by the Civil authorities and committed to jail to await trial.

16. April 11th in Randolph County, Johann Harden was shot and killed for refusing the countersign to a Loyal League Sentinel, posted on the street, by Ben Mathison, freed. Mathison was arrested by Civil authorities and to bail in the sum of $1000.00/100.

17. April 12th in Lee County, Thomas Foster was beat with a club, and shot in the head without provocation by William Dawson, white. No arrest. Dawson whereabouts unknown.

18. April 12th in Lee County, Jerry Lamar was stabbed in the back, without provocation  by Ch. Raines, white, no arrest. Whereabouts unknown.

19. April 16th, in Terrell County, Peter Small was shot at by six different white men, unknown to him. Cause unknown. No action by Civil authorities. 

20. April 17th in Calhoun Co, a colored unknown man was stabbed by West Hill, col'd, cause unknown. Arrested by Civil authorities and admitted to bail.
