No. 21. April 20th in Baker County Allen Wooten was shot and wounded without provocation, by Calhoun M Dean (wh.). No action by Civil Authorities. Dean supposed to be in Baker County.

No. 22.  April 22d. in Mitchell County. Joseph Took, badly wounded with a club without provocation, by John Baily (wh.). No arrest, John Baily supposed to be in Mitchell County.

No. 23.  April 22d. in Mitchell County - Barrow stabbed, not fatally, assailant unknown, No action by civil authorities.

No. 24.  April 22d. in Mitchell County, an unknown colored man, beaten and badly wounded with clubs, by Thomas R Baily and WJ Blythe (wh's.); cause unknown, No arrests, Baily & Blythe supposed to be in Mitchell County.

No. 25.  May 5th. in Mitchell County, David Hudson, was, without provocation, shot through the left lung, by three unknown men in disguise to his house at night. No action by Civil Authorities.

No. 26.  May 8th. in Baker County, George Malloy was shot in head and back by - Gervis (freed); provocation unknown, No action by Civil Authorities.
