No. 57. September 1st in Clay County. 
- was shot and badly cut with an axe, without provocation, by Allen Dosier (wh.) no arrest. Dosier at large in Calhoun or Randolph County.

No. 58. September 15th in Lee County
Edmund Johnson was struck with the fist in the face, kicked, pursued with an open knife in the hand of assailant, and shot at twice while fleeing, cause disobedience of orders received from his employer, Henry Galloway (wh.). Case referred to Dr. M.F. Moore Not. Pub. at Spartasville Ga. for preliminary proceedings, but had not been heard from since. 

NO. 54. September 15th in Baker County, Sam. Mason was beaten with a heavy stick and his thigh bone fractured, a consequence of a quarrel between the children, in which the parents participated, by Joseph Porter (col'd) Case has been referred by this Bureau, to W.H. Adams, Justice of the Peace, Newton, Baker County, result not known.

No. 60. September 19th in Schley County, Marsh Thompson, was shot through the shoulder, without provocation, by Leander Scarborough (wh.) no action taken by civil authorities. Assailant at large in Schley County.
