113 -109- #33 Ferry Avenue, Detroit, Michigan, May 13th, 1901. My dear Mr. Coffin:-- I dictated my letter to you of the 11th instant rather hurriedly. Permit me now to call your attention to one or two errors in the titles of Mr. Whistler's work: The correct title of the picture known as "The Balcony" is a follows: "Variations in Flesh Colour and Green--The Balcony". The correct titles of the two water colours are as follows:-- "Blue and Silver--Chopping Channel". "Grey and Silver--The Mersey". Yours very sincerely, Wm. A. Coffin, Esq., Director of Fine Arts, Pan-American Exposition, #820 Ellicott Square, Buffalo, N.Y.
