Frederick Kennel & Company,
#20 East Sixteenth Street,
New York City.

Gentlemen:-

Yours of the 23rd, addressed to Mr. Freer, was opened by me in his absence. Mr. Freer sailed on the 18th instant for Europe to be absent about three months.

If you so desire, I would be very glad to forward your letter to him, and the Whistler Litographs could remain at his house awaiting his return, or I will have them returned to you at once. I have no way of forecasting his conclusion as to whether or not he may desire to purchase them.

Yours very truly,
Frank J Hecker
