Gentlemen:--

Enclosed herewith, please find a portion of the wrapper from a package addressed to my house, which was delivered to me on Saturday afternoon, and which you requested to be preserved for you or that the shipper's name be furnished.

I am greatly annoyed at the delay in the delivery of this package, because of some clerical error in billing the same by your company, and your refusal to deliver it because my servant could not give your driver information respecting it.

I now beg leave to inform you that under no circumstances will my servants remove the wrappers from packages or furnish you with the shipper's name thereof, if requested by you.

My express matter should not be held up pending the adjustment by you of some error within your company, nor should you expect a servant to be able to give you information on demand. I have considerable express matter delivered
