visitors, and if fly papers could have been purchased, I am sure that some at least would have been used. In Naples, there are two large establishments managed by Englishmen who deal in groceries, etc., and I should think that either one of them might easily introduce your goods throughout the district above referred to. If you would care to have me find out the names of these establishments, I can easily do so and let you know. I am told you have an agent in Genoa, which seems to me all right for the Northern Italian towns, but I doubt if he has an considerable trade south of Florence, and probably none at all on the Island of Sicily.

If I can aid you any in this matter, do not fail to let me know.

P. S. A letter just received from Capri tells me of the recent breaking out of the plague in Naples. Perhaps a little judicious advertising there just now would be advantageous.
