Dear Church:--
I am busy this week entertaining some Japanese friends who have just arrived; and on Monday next, I shall go to my farm in the Berkshires to spend Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and, Friday there. Can't you meet me there, and spend as much time with me as possible? It is a very easy trip to make from New York. The best train starts from New York from the Grand Central Depot, New Haven Station, at about three o'clock in the afternoon, and reaches Great Barrington between six and seven the same evening. I stop at the Berkshire Inn in Great Berrington, and drive to and from my farm daily. I can show you some very pretty country, and give you plenty of fresh air and as good a supply of fine spring water as you ever enjoyed. Microbe killer will also be very accessible in case of danger.

As I leave here before a letter from you could reach me, kindly write me to Sheffield, Massachusetts, addressing me in care of the postoffice. The mail from Sheffield is sent over to my farm once a day. Hoping to have the pleasure of seeing you next week, I remain,

Faithfully yours,
