Dear Sir:--

I have your kind letter of December 7th, and have also received by separate mail the two catalogues written by Professor Fenollosa. I am very much obliged to you, indeed, for the same.

I also notice that Mr. Millet of Boston will sell the reprints of the Korin exhibition. I hope to attend the sale of your goods to be held at the rooms of the American Art Association during early January.

Professor Fenollosa is now my guest, and he has shown me a copy of the "History of the Ukiyo-ye School of Painters", published by you in Tokio. Are there any copies of this book for sale, and, if so, will you kindly let me know how I can purchase one?

I will be pleased to hear from Mr. H. Sotome at such times as he may have fine things to offer me.

Again thanking you for the two catalogues, and with best wishes, I remain,
Yours faithfully,
Charles L Freer
