Messrs. E.G. Vickers & Company,
#7 Via Vittoria,
Naples, Italy.

Gentlemen:--
On the two cases of porcelain, etc., shipped to me the latter part of July or early part of August, 1901, in S.S. "Karamania", charges of $45.00 had accrued up to the time of their leaving New York. Upon enquiry as to the items making up this amount, I have learned through the American Express Company that " E.G. Vickers & Company's charge was $43.05". Will you be good enough to furnish me with the detail of the same, and greatly oblige.
Yours very truly,
Charles L. Freer
