April 30th, 1901

Dear Mr. Plumb:--

Permit me the pleasure of introducing to you my young friends, Messrs. Yoshida and Nakagawa of Japan. These young gentlemen came to me with introductions from Japan about a year and a half ago, since which time they have been travelling in this country and in Europe, studying American and European art, and making exhibitions of their own work, in which latter they have been very successful, particularly in Detroit and Boston.

Mr. Yoshida has asked me to tell him whom to see in your city concerning making an exhibition of their work there. I have taken the liberty of referring them to you. any information you can give them will be considered a personal favor.

Yours very sincerely,
Charles L. Freer
