Communication from Wm. P.Drew ("C.B. 1582") dated Washington D.C. Aug 13 1868, Claim Division Bu. R.F. and A.L. stating that claim for bounty &c. of Nathan McLain late private Co. "B" 58th U.S.C.T. has been allowed (and enclosing discharge) referred by the Asst. Commr for Miss. to this office, is received. I have the honor to state that McLain is near this place, and can be reached at any time. He wishes the amount to be sent him at this place.
