I have your letter of the 27th instant, and note the same fully.

I now expect to be in New York the early part of next week, and will take pleasure in calling at your place of business, and looking over the screens mentioned. I will also be pleased to have a look at the Kakemono by Shunsho.

I note your disappointment in not receiving the Shidoro bowl. Whenever it does arrive, I will be pleased to have you send it to me on approval.
