Box was written by famous Chajin Kakkakusai. Date of box when made 2nd year of the Ho-reki 1752. Date of jar, about 1690. Another tea man, of Chajin, called Sogioku writes on the box as follow: viz made by Doniu - Red and gray water Jar. Great work. Height over cover 9in (I.) (9in) | 160.00 |
