Name of the box was known as ("Tama" in marble.) Translation of Inscriptions.
"At Nagasakai’s abode [[Keicho Zenzan?]] Shincho made this.
This piece was formerly in the possession of fameuse Japanese connoisseur Mr. Matsumoto of Kioto. |

that this is genuine Chojiro Tea Bowl. 1900 A.D.
at request of B. Matsuki.|Height 3 1/16 in.|

about 15 years ago. He considered it the 
mint wonderful Jenzan he even obtained.

at bottom. 
Greenish and brown Tongs - Iris in white all around the jar, also a foot bridge indicated - Two small handles. Height 8 1/4 in.|
