Dear Sir,
I had much pleasure of receiving for your esteemed firm the goods stated at foot, which have been shipped, as per enclosed bill of lading on board the S.S. Frankfurt bound for Baltimore
Insurance is here covered by me for M 950- on the condition free of 3% of damage
(I cover insurance only, if especially instructed to do so, as provided for by the German law. If ordered the goods are covered by my open policy all through from the sender's railroad station to consignee's store, inclusive of general average.)
The underwriters' agents are: at Baltimore, Md.: Cunningham, Coale & Co., at Boston Mass.: Francis Peabody, at New York, N. Y.: A. R. Buechner, and at Philadelphia, Pa.: B. Humburg.
Enclosed I also beg to hand you my bill of charges amounting to M $4.71 which sum I have taken forward.
