Oil Painting 

A landscape with a row of red-roofed houses in the middle distance. In the foreground a roadway bounded on one side by a picket fence. A number of figures walking along the street.

Oblong. 9 x 5". Unsigned.

Water Color. "The Novelette"

The interior of a sleeping room. A lady with pink blouse and grey skirt is seated on the bed reading a novel held in both hands. In front of the figure a wicker work-basket filled with materials. In the distance a fire-place above which is shown two fans and a water color sketch.

Upright. 10 x 6". Signature, the Butterfly. Mr. Whistler's No. 6.

Water Color.

Nocturne. Canal Scene. In the foreground two figures at the right. In the distance three buildings -- the one at the right is one story and the two windows are illuminated in red from within.

Oblong. 11 x 8 1-2". Signature, the Butterfly.
