Transcription Notes:
after ex, it appears to be two initials followed by the name, "Lewis". - no city of St Louis
Re: note above... In all of the other "W.H. Allison" documents in this collection, there is a city name (e.g. St. Paul, Frankfurt, etc.) in the position after 'ex'...I believe the St. Louis transcription is correct.
Also, the lines with figures involve accounting entries with percentages and monetary calculations (i.e. 500 = 5.00 and 520 = 5.20), likely adding taxes/duties. There are additional numbers on the right side of the page with numbers being added up in each section and total. (I am sorry...I do not know how to describe this in a better way.) This part of the transcription may be better as a columned table?
Also, "express" does not seem correct.
I cannot make out the underlined writing beneath the "2045" figure. It looks like a "K"? A few of the other "W.H. Allison" pages have this too. Likely an employee initial(s)?
