BOSTON. Dec. 17th 1902.

Ch. L. Freer, Esg.,
Dear Sir,
Confirming my last respect, I beg to inform you I have now forwarded some old books as per enclosed list, which I selected and of many bounded books I received from Japan, and request you examine them when they reach you. As to things you would not need, I again beg you to send them by express to Boston. I beg to add the price is subject to twenty percent discount as usual, for anything you take.
Very truly yours,
B. Kobayashi
