I have the honor to invite your attention to the discrepency in the Vouchers of J.E. Greenfield for rent of Freedmens School for the Month of June 1867. It appearing on the retained report that there was an average attendance of twenty five Schollars which would entitle him to Fifteen dollars instead of Ten. I would respectfully request that the same be corrected

You are requested to issue the balance of the Government Rations I sent you and return the receipts to this office as early as practicable 

As I have no blanks on hand, until a supply can be obtained, you will have to write them out.  Much labor however may be saved by taking the receipts of eight or ten persons on the same paper & in cases where they sign by marks their signatures should be witnessed.
