The cases referred to this office, as mentioned in each report, have not all been investigated.

Complaints now made at this Office consist principally of threatening violence, driving off from plantation, desertion of husband or wife, detaining property, Assault and Battery. All such cases referred to me within my jurisdiction, are satisfactorily adjudicated or referred to proper authorities.
