Sir:
I have the honor to transmit herewith a copy of the Contract that you desired should be drawn up with one Mr. Kemp of this city - A blank space has been left for the party of the first part, as I do not know who is to assume the responsibility of each - I would also state that I have no authority to use Government wagons without a proper order - Mr. Kemp states that he is willing to sign the enclosed contract, provided the materials be furnished immediately - The nails and glass can be bought if money is advanced. Glazing is an outside piece of work, but a proper man can be had to contract for the same.
