States that by enclosed letter he should judge that the man lived at Aberdeen, also states that he sent vouchers to O'Kolona, but they have not been returned_ Wishes to know if he shall send draft on Memphis, New Orleans or New York_ |

States that he received a communication of the 8th inst. but without a signature, also one of the 18th inst. concerning the case of Tom Simmons, colored, which will be referred to immediately. Collins. Robt. W. 2. | West Point. Miss. January 31. 68.  States that Tom Simmons (colored) was dissatisfied with the decision of his case, he is willing to settle the difficulty by Arbitration. |

Thinks he is taking advantage of the Freedmen. Requests that an Agent be sent to the place to make a settlement. |

| February 4. 1868 Collins. Robt. W. 4. | West Point. Miss. February 4. 1868.  States that Tom Simmons (colored) owes two men on his place five dollars ($5.00) each, and that he has promised to earn the same for the parties. |

| February 10. 1868. Collins. Robt. W. 5. | West Point. Miss. Feb. 10, 1868.  States that he has not received any information in regard to settlement not being satisfactory in the case of Jim. Conningham. Is willing to come to the Bureau and settle on a day appointed. |
