Mr. Charles E. Culver is hereby appointed an agent of the Bureau of Refugees, Freedmen and Abandoned Lands, in this state at a salary of one hundred dollars ($100.00) per month.

This appointment is made, subject to the approval of Maj. Genl. O.O. Howard, Commissioner, and in accordance with the provisions of "an Act to continue in force the Bureau" passed July 16, 1866, and will take effect from June 1. 1867. and remain in force until revoked by orders from this office.
