your power

The General further desires to express his gratification at your prompt action when approaching the offender who interrupted the meeting some time since at Waco. At the same time it is desirable that the people should enjoy perfect liberty in meeting and listening to listening to political discussion yet the fine people thinking highly of their newly given privileges may be disposed to waste much of their own and their employer's time by getting up frequent and protracted gatherings in such cases you can by a judicious exercise of your "persuasive powers" show them the impolicy of the course and the good sense of moderation in all things.
