Sir, I am directed by General Reynolds to say that the deed given by him to the City of San Antonio of the property lately in possession of this Bureau is not considered sufficient, but that it is necessary that it should be executed by General Howard the Commissioner of the Bureau. See Section 12 of Act. continuing the Bureau, passed July 16, 1868. If you will return the above mentioned deed with the bounds or description of the premises and the name of the person or persons to whom a deed should be made, the information will be forwarded to Maj.
