Bureau of Refugees, Freedmen, and Abandoned Lands,
February 18th, 1866

William Munden and George Bell

Gents -

I hereby notify you that Silas, Hall, Freedman, must not be disturbed in the possession of Two hundred acres of land willed to him by Isham N. Smith deceased. Said land is bounded as follows. "Commencing at the north corner next to Burnett and Price's and running south to the south end of my peach orchard thence west far enough to include two hundred acres and then back to the northern line," neither will he be disturbed in his contract.

Any violation of this order will subject you to arrest and your property to confiscation by the U.S. Authorities.
