I respectfully call your attention to the enclosed application signed by numerous citizens of Kaufman County Texas for the removal of A.P. Gardner Clerk of County Court and to appoint in his stead M.A. Morris.
I earnestly think the change a very important one as the official duties of the office is not discharged in a satisfactory manner as I learn Gardner (who has been arrested for murder and bailed for his appearance at the next term of the District Court) fills the office by a deputy one with whom the people are much
