I have the honor to consult you in regard to a case of a freedman & woman they have lived together for the last seven years, they appear to be dissatisfied and they want to be seperated or they have seperated and the woman quarrels with the man so that he say he cannot stand it any longer she say she wants him to leave the plantation he say he will not but he wants her to leave the place what shall I do in the case the man they are to work for say the Freedman is a good man and the woman is at fault
