500#. At the lot Mr Harper gave Nelson one or two B/c and at house directly after Mr Harper read over to Nelson his account. Nelson expressed himself plain Satisfied and Saw that Mr Harper had done even better than he expected_
He thinks Harpers account against Nelson was between 5 and 6 hundred dollars. And that Nelson after giving up the cotton owed Mr Harper some one hundred and [[strikethrough]] eighty [[/strikethrough]] fifty or seventy five dollars.

E. B. Harper Sworn on oath Says that on a certain occasion he went up. Mr Harpers at the gate he met Nelson and Mr Harper.  Nelson professed to Mr Harper to know what he thought of the trade he had offered him. to wit to give him 12 B/c for his Share of the Cotton Crop after some conversation Mr Harper agreed to take the 12 B/c. And So the trade was then confirmed. After this Nelson pretty much quit working. And on Witness [[strikethrough]] being [[/strikethrough]] remonstrating with Nelson about his conduct Nelson Said he did not care, as he had Enough already out to pay Mr Harper. for his share of the Crop.  This Spring was after the 12 B/c trade and a certain Order for 30$ was given Spent after the trade. of 12 B/c was made.  While talking about the 12 Bale trade
