The State of Texas
County of Trinity

Know all men by these presents that whereas Thomas S Estes of the County and State aforesaid have used and disposed of for my use [[strikethrough]] benefit [[/strikethrough]] purpose the separate property of my wife Martha A Estes, she having inherited the same from her Brothers Estate and the amount of property thus used by him and disposed as aforesaid amounting on the day of  [[strikethrough]] 1865 [[/strikethrough]]] 1855 to the sum of thirty five [[strikethrough]] hundred [[/strikethrough]] $35.60 hundred dollars and cents now therefore for the purpose of paying off and discharging said indebtedness as far as in my power so to do I the said Thomas S Estes bargain sell [[strikethrough]] alien [[/strikethrough]] transfer [[strikethrough]] alien [[/strikethrough]] convey alien and deliver and by these presents have bargained sold transferred conveyed aliened and delivered the following Real Estate and personal property to my said wife Martha A Estes 640 acres land lying about 2½ miles south of the town of Sumpter in said County for the field notes of the said 640 acres of land reference to the letters patent granted to me by the state of Texas as assinee of Captain Page to two hundred forty nine acres said patent bears date on the tenth day of June 1862 And signed by F R Lubbock Govnr. also to the letters patent granted to me by the State of Texas as assinee of Benjamin Foster to three hundred and twenty which patent bears date 31 day of March 1859
