Your manifested interest in the affairs of the state, and your evident desire to aid in upholding the law, that peace, quiet and right may prevail among the people, induce me to speak freely & candidly and to appeal to you with confidence that you will not countenance any wrong or outrage on those, through whom, the affairs of your Bureau of Labor are executed.
Premising this much I have the honor to call your earnest & careful attention to copies of papers marked 1,2,3&4, and herewith enclosed to you.
