Telegram. New Orleans, La. January 5" 1867. Maj General Chas. Griffin Com'dg Major Lathrop is relieved from all connection with the Freedmens Bureau, and from Staff duty in the District of Texas. He will turn over to Gen. Kiddoo, all property pertaining to that Bureau, and return to duty with his regiment. Furnish Gen. Kiddoo with copy of this dispatch. By command of Maj. Gen.
