attend on the sabbath:  and by energetic systematic and united effort of all interested in this great work, the adults as well as minors will be surrounded by school facilities and influences, and in a good measure become prepared for the duties of citizenship, and possess an appreciative idea of the blessings of that Government, in which they now have a part and voice - and placed in a position to realize the value of their suffrages to the common good, and the positive crime of bestowing their ballots unworthily, or to make them an article of merchandize, which latter matter is perhaps now the greatest danger and anxiety connected with the right of suffrage, enjoyed by the blacks.
