My Dear Sir:-

A letter with your card on the envelope, address to Mr. Charles L. Freer, and post marked May 3rd, reached Mr. Freer's residence after he had left Detroit, en route to Europe.
Mr. Freer sailed for England on the "S. S. Oceanic" yesterday morning and will be absent about six weeks.
I am writing him to-day, and will take pleasure in enclosing therein, your letter.
Yours very truly,
