A separate invoice should be made for all of the parts which are not of wood, i. e., the glass globes, andirons, fire-place tiles, etc. Duty, however, will be charged upon all of the parts upon which Mr. Whistler did no work. The valuation for these articles I leave to your own judgement. The prices should appear upon the consular invoice and should be as near as possible to what you consider such second-hand articles actually worth.

The shipment should be consigned to me at Detroit in bond, as usual. The freight charges are to be paid here.

You need not insure these shipments.
