#33 Ferry Avenue,
Detroit, Michigan,
April 30th, 1904.

My dear Mr. Eddy:--

I have your good letter of April 29th, also the two copies of "The Gentle Art of Making Enemies".

The gracious attention being given by yourself and Mr. Dyrenforth in behalf of Miss. Birnie-Philip is very deeply appreciated.

My trip abroad will be a very short one, and I hope that we may meet early after my return to America.

With all good wishes,

Yours very sincerely,
