Saturday 13. Men went to Pemadum[[?]] look for splints. Rained in the evening & did not return  Ladies went out in big bunch  I remained in camp & wrote to Lucy & mended my rod.

Saturday 14. Rained. Men returned about 9, delayed by gale on Pemadum creek  Wrote to Mrs Carnes - Finished letter to Lucy, Sara, May & Eastman

Monday 15. Rained all night and early in the morning wind changed to N.W. and has blown a gale all day - Finished the gentlemens apartment. Put up the stove - colored [[?]] in the woods in the evening - Note to Meir. Walked on the toll road - Preparations for the Leycesters departure tomorrow - A clean beautiful evening promising a fine day tomorrow -
