Let me tender to you and your Committee, my sincere thanks for the fine work which you reported to me in your letter of August 18th. All of the things, which you and your group have done at the Douglass Home, are highly appreciated by the Trustees. I can not begin to express real gratitude to you who was the leader of this find work. May God bless you and your group who gave their money and time to do these things for our Douglass Home. Mrs. Luaco Gladden, or fine Secretary who lives in East St. Louis, Ill came over today to read your letter and other letters of D.C. business. We made plans to send out notices to our Trustees and Mrs. Gaines with her advisory board to be in our regular annual meeting to be held in the Douglass Home [[?]] elsewhere on the 4th Saturday, September 24.
