Waco Decer the 20th 1867
Lieutenant JP Richardson
A.A.Q.M and CIO

Sir on yesterday I came to Town (Waco) and saw an advertisement of the Property of the Waco Manufacturing Company for sale or lease by the Govt, through you--

The Flouring and Saw Mills and the maschinery [[machinery]] propelling them were bought from me by said Company, together with Bolt Area Smelter. for which I have never reced a cent I now hold their note for the property, which is mentioned in the note, and, claim a lien upon it, to secure me from an entire loss. I believe this is recognized by all the parties of the Factory who made the purchase of me,

I therefore respectfully ask that the property purchased from me be released from the sale or lease until you may have time to investigate the facts as above stated and I respectfully protest against the sale of the same.

Very Respectfully G.E. Harrison Sr
