Major Johnson 
Having been Sworn deposes and says - I saw Jo Brisco, Mathew Snowball, Susan Flernoy, and Francis Brisco, on their way from Mr Beall's to Mr Hart's, and asked them if they were running away again? They said no. They said they had lef Beall's, because they were afraid they would make nothing - that it was too sickly &c, and had not paid them for previous labor.
