Respectfully returned to Bvt. Maj. Gen. J.J. Reynolds, U.S.A., Asst. Commissioner &c., Austin, Texas, with information that the application of Mrs. N.J. Rawlings, for restoration of property therein described, forwarded by his endorsement of June 9th, 1868, recommending the same, was returned to him, August 18th, with recommendation approved.

In view of the facts within stated showing that the property was regularly transferred to the late so-called Confederate Government, authority is hereby given to sell the same, under the provisions of Section 12 of Act of Congress, passed July 16th, 1866, copy enclosed, as well as all other property situated in Anderson Co., Texas, likewise deeded to the late so-called Confederate Government.
