BRF&AL. Texas (S vol 2 54) 1867 T 322 R.F. & A.L. Vol 11, 67 Galveston, Texas, Sep't. 18/67. R46 OCMO Vol 2. '67. Texas. Wm H. Sinclair. Inspector States that nearly all of the Bureau employees in Galveston have been attacked with Yellow fever. A number have died. Owing to the deaths of Army Surgeons there was no possibility of procuring aid for said employees from the Bureau Surgeons. Therefore very heavy expenses were incurred in procuring the necessary medical aid. Asks if the legitimate expenditures for physician bills, nurse hire, etc, can be recovered by employees and their families who have been subjected to the pestilence. [[stamp]] BUREAU R.F. & A.L.
